Export to accounting and verify entries
Objective. Export invoices, payments, expenses and customer transactions to the accounting system with a controlled scope, correct account allocation and evidence that totals have been reconciled.
What you will learn
- Configure the accounting format, journals, accounts and descriptions expected by the receiving system.
- Export each transaction family through its dedicated workflow.
- Reconcile exported records and totals before and after accounting import.
Recommended workflow
- Confirm the target software, company, journal, accounting period and export options.
- Check customer, revenue, bank, expense and VAT accounts in the source reference data.
- Export invoices, payments, expenses and other customer transactions separately.
- Compare record counts and debit, credit, tax and payment totals with Tempolia reports and the accounting import report.
Checks before continuing
- The selected company and period are explicit and complete.
- No missing account or rejected row is ignored or corrected only in the exported file.
- A re-export is performed only with a documented duplicate-handling procedure.
